They utilize a two copper pot still system where the large dual column copper pot still distills the spirits and a smaller “experimental” copper still designed for research and development small batches to create innovative recipes.
The Malahat itself was a five masted schooner that sailed down the West Coast during Prohibition. Capable of carrying over 60,000 cases of spirits, she delivered more contraband liquor than any other ship in the Pacific, ensuring Southern California rumrunners had ample spirits for awaiting patrons.
Formal presentation by the owners 7-7:30pm.
