Learn about the science and art of cooking close to home! Join us for an evening of Italian cuisine and an exploration of the Sicilian Table at Harvard Cookin' Girl in La Jolla. We will hear tales of Marco Polo's travels along the spice route as we learn the science behind using spices to enhance the flavors of our cooking.
Bibi Kasrai, HBS grad and owner of Harvard Cookin' Girl, will lead the evening along with chef Orazio Barna.  A native of Sicily, Orazio grew up surrounded by Sicilian food in his mom's and grandma's Trattoria in Messina. The Trattoria was well-known and Orazio has many memories of wonderful times learning about the heart and soul of Sicilian cooking.
